The Shropshire Dog Hotel is a family business in the heart of the beautiful North Shropshire Countryside that provides dog day care & home boarding. Whether joining us as a day guest or boarding overnight with us, your dog will become part of our family.
Set within 300 acres of stunning farmland and countryside, The Shropshire Dog Hotel is a fully licenced, insured & kennel free environment where your dog can relax, play and have fun in a ‘home from home’ setting.
Based just outside of Whitchurch, we are easily accessible from the North Shropshire, South Cheshire and the West Welsh border.

Cosy & Comfortable
We provide your dog their own private bedroom within our home, helping them to feel safe, settled & relaxed. Each bedroom is set up to provide maximum comfort to each guest via temperature controlled underfloor heating & triple glazing. Your pet also has access to our indoor and outdoor communal areas, where they can rest, play & socialise.

Home from Home experience
Before your dog stays with us, we get to know their likes, dislikes, routines & needs, so our care is tailored to their wellbeing. We only feed your dog the meals they have at home, including raw, fresh or dry food as provided by you.

Exercise & Enrichment
We have created eight miles of grass tracks around our farm, meaning we can offer two daily walks on our private land where your dog can explore & sniff their way along the beautiful Shropshire countryside. Alongside this we provide all day access to our expansive and secure patio & paddock, where your dog can enjoy games, play, naps & even a dip in the doggy paddling pool!

Safe & Secure
Our modern barn conversion has been designed around providing the ultimate comfort & safety for your pet. Your pets individual room will be triple glazed & can be temperature controlled via underfloor heating. Our secure, large garden means dogs can run around, play and relax both indoors and outdoors at their leisure, and our eight miles of grass track walking routes means we never have to walk your dog on the road during their stay.
Our home is a lovingly converted former horse & cart stable block that leads out to a secure patio & grass paddock. Nestled just outside the village of Ash and set within the grounds of the 300 acre family arable farm, our home is an idyllic safe & secure countryside retreat.
Our secure home and large garden have been designed as a perfect pup playground, providing all day access to cuddles on the sofa, ball games on the lawn, & dips in the patio paddling pool! We ensure your pup gets the mental and physical stimulation they need during their stay with us.
We also have eight miles of grass tracks around the farm that can be accessed from our doorstep where we provide daily walks (off lead with your permission), for your dog to enjoy the sights and sniffs, and sometimes squirrels, around our farm, countryside & woodland areas.
We know that kennels don’t suit all dogs, so we welcome your friendly furry family member and can tailor their care plan while staying with us based on their likes, dislikes, breed, age and size.
